About Us

Location and facilities

As a home based business in Melbourne's south eastern suburb of Cranbourne North, I can cater for solo artists right up to the full ensemble band. Whether you need a demo or album recorded, mixed or mastered, or maybe a new on-hold message or radio ad for your business, it can all be done in house.

Newly added video editing capabilities using Apple's Final Cut Pro software are now available as well, providing the option of on site filming for promotional and instructional videos.

History

From a very early age I have had a strong interest in music. My earliest memory was listening to the radio one day and being so engaged with a song that I couldn't turn it off, despite my father's insistance as we were due to leave the house. I would have been 4 years old at the time. I later discovered that the song was Imagine by John Lennon. I also had a strong desire to play music, and started to teach myself to play our electric piano that my mother was learning on, using her books and key guides. As I got older my love of music continued to grow and develop into wanting to learn an instrument formally. I wanted to learn the drums but these were deemed too noisy by my parents, so guitar it was. I practiced daily and eventually started my own band. Being the 90’s it was naturally a Grunge Rock band! We recorded a demo and promptly fell apart and broke up. However I had discovered something new, the recording studio. It was awe inspiring to me and I wanted to know more. I eventually went on to study music and received my Bachelors degree in technical music production, graduating in 2005. As soon as I was old enough to get into pubs I started engineering front of house for bands, whoever needed someone. This developed into a full time occupation and developed my mixing skills very quickly. In live music there are no second chances. I maintained my love of music and recording by setting up a small studio at home and working with some amazing vocalists along the way. Then came the TV and Film sound, the post-production, multi channel mixing and eventually video editing. If it involved music or sound I wanted to be a part of it!

Jump forward to now, I have a small project studio with a recording space and separate voice over/vocal booth, and a mixing control room with a large format analogue mixing console. I am just as happy working on hip hop as I am folk or rock, and just as capable when it comes to spoken word. I have a life long passion for music and recoding, and now I would like to share that with you.
